i think they will. i read a lot of stories here that it is ok to do the biometrics as "walk ins". i will just try my luck.

I know it is a pain in the tush!

Do you think they would get your fingerprints done if you just show up there? I'm not sure if they would but you can try calling and see what they can do about it.

I can't wait to get that out of the way.

i just received a letter from uscis saying the same thing. *sigh* they scheduled me for another biometrics on the 28th but im thinking to just go there on monday. are they open on mondays? i cant wait til the 28th to get this done...

Just keeping you updated on our timeline, our case has been transfered to CSC yesterday 8/7 but I will have to go back and get my fingerprints done again, because apparently the first one I had on 7/11 wasn't good enough for the FBI to process.

So the USCIS sent me a letter asking to please go back to my local office next wednesday to get it done again.

But at least the process is rolling!

yep. besides my hubby doesnt have work on mondays. and it is just an hour drive from here to york, pa. i just hope they are open on mondays.

They do walk-ins here in California. Their work schedule though is Tuesday-Saturday. They are close on Monday. You can try calling your local USCIS if they are open on Monday.

One question - Does transfer only apply to people who filed their AOS from K1? I mean, I came here as student and got married and then filed for my AOS, so I'm not sure I will get trasfer too (coz I think they will call us for interview). But I dont know..any ideas?

The chances are that you will have to go through an interview, but, you never know. Good Luck!

Hi, look don't worry too much, my case was transferred to CSC on june 4th, later it was touched on June 11-12 (not updated email just touched) and later was again touched on june 18-19 but this time i got email update: "This case is now pending to the office which was transferred" then finally on july 06 i got AOS approvals... so dont worry, I think that your touched and/or update is coming soon..

Sonia had her Biometrics appointment for 1:00 PM Friday. We arrived at 12:50, completed a form at were at the first clerk at 12:59. She had her photo taken, along with double sets of finger prints and a signature. We left at 1:21. Good job USCIS!!!!

Thank you for your kind words I was worried b/c I've seen other ppl got updated within a week, and now I feel better of what you're telling me so I just keep waiting then
