AOS june 2008 filer

I am beginning to think Kris and I got lost in the that place. something needs to happen with his EAD at the least B)

Well...we filed for my aos about 1 week after you guys and I don't have any touches since my biometrics... I am considering calling fbi to check on my fingerprints status...I am waiting because I've seen someone else that has decided to call..if they get through I will try as well..

I've tried searching the boards and this may seem like a really dumb question but what is an actual 'touch'? I'm working on my timeline to post here but basically we got an NOA saying that our AOS was received on June 30th and I had my Biometrics on July 22nd. My EAD and GC status are

'processing' so what would a 'touch' be from this stage, a USCIS letter update of some kind?

Not a dumb question if you don't know what it is! If you check your case status on the USCIS website (known as "CRIS") then you can see the last date that somebody updated your case. It might mean they're actually working on it... or it may just mean that your file has been moved from one desk to another. Anyway, just log in here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp

In the column Last Updated, the date shown will indicate when your file was last "touched". If the date corresponds to e.g. your NOA1 date, then you don't have any touches as such. But if there is a subsequent date that doesn't correspond to any letter you've had etc., then that's a touch. Might mean something, might mean nothing... although if you're like me it's nice to know that someone has looked at the case (even just to move it) because it means it isn't lost!

Ah, thank you I'm registered with the USCIS for the case online status and it was last 'touched' on the 22nd July, once my biometrics had been stamped. I'm hoping that the next 'touch' is following an email saying your EAD has been granted

Since after my biometric June 24, 2008 I have no touch for EAD since June 25. Hope soon. But my AOS was already transferred in CSC on july 08, 2008....

You will get your EAD soon, this week or early next week
