=>I-102 form (replacement I-94) sent on Mar 18th, 2008.

=>I-102 form(Approval) on Mar 27th, 2008.

=>Immigration Medical taken on May 27th,2008.

=>Picked up Medical Results on May 30th,2008.

=>I-765,I-485,I-130 App Package Sent on June 23rd,2008.

=>I-765,I-485,I-130 App Package Received on June 24th,2008.

=>I-797C NOA Receipts on June 27th,2008.

=>Biometrics NOA on July 1st,2008.

=>Touched on July 2nd,2008.

=>Notification of I-485 RFE on July 22nd,2008.(gathering req doc's)

=>Biometrics Appt July 29th,2008.(Completed)

=>Touched on July 29th,2008.

=>RFE response sent on Oct 17th,2008. (took us a while, but we did it!)

=>EAD Card (Approved) production ordered notice on Nov 25th,2008. (omg so excited)

Timeline

Hummm... it is very interesting to see that alot of people who get transferred get their green card fast but they never have their work permit processed. That sucks in a way for me cause i was expecting to receive my wife's EAD very soon. She is currently working and will have to stop working as of August 14th because we have not received anything regarding EAD.

Hummm... it is very interesting to see that alot of people who get transferred get their green card fast but they never have their work permit processed. That sucks in a way for me cause i was expecting to receive my wife's EAD very soon. She is currently working and will have to stop working as of August 14th because we have not received anything regarding EAD.

It's seems me that when you received your green card, you can work with that.

So it's not a problem if you don't receive your EAD card. No???? :blink:

Yeah you ar eright but the thing is that she won't be able to work after August 14th and then who knows how long it will take for them to approve the AOS. Anyways, i don't mean to sound unthankful. I am very thankful for how things are going.... this is just a small hiccup.

Nothing here either. No transfer, no EAD approval, no touches. I don't care if we have to do an interview, or it takes a while for the AOS to get approved, but I'm so ANXIOUS to get my EAD. I hate not being able to work and contribute financially. I should just think about having the EAD at by mid September.

Summer 2004: Met while on J1 visa; J1 internship was 3 months (subject to 2yr-HRR)

2004-2008: Visited US on B1 / Steve visited Nicaragua as well (living in different countries! while I fulfilled 2yr-HRR)

Nothing here either.... it looks like only if you aos from k1 you have a good chance to get transf and get approved in about 3 months.... all the others need to go the long way... oh well...patience is all that we need...it's going to be way faster compared to those that filed for aos last year when the fee was increased
