Got I-693 Medical and Vaccines completed by Civil Surgeon today June 06, 08. He transferred the vaccines my wife had in Vietnam plus he did the TB skin test and blood test as required per the CS. The whole thing cost $125. Was worth it and worry-free RE: medical RFE. Also the AoS and EAD applications were completed and mailed off today to Chicago Lockbox. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No big thing to file I-131! Never know when an emergency will pop up back home. Your trip tho!

I guess we would fall in this catagory too! Checks were just cashed today. OMG so excited!!!!!!

I sent mine AOS may 29th 2008 by USPS priority mail. Ti'll now no Notice yet that the check already cashed. hope soon.

So USPS really stopped tracking our package. The last update we have was when it left Elk Grove, IL but it doesnt have the "delivered" update.

So we are just supposing it has been delivered and will wait for the NOA in the mail or for the check to be cashed until around June15th.

If by then we don't get any signs of the AOS petition I guess we'll have to make another one and void the check.

It sucks!!!!!

I suggest taking your Delivery Confirmation or Signature Confirmation to the local USPS. They may him haw or tell you they cannot look it up, but they can. I have done this before and was told when the package was delivered.

We did that! but they are a bunch of lazy morons....

We had to finally get a hold of the Post Office manager in Elk Grove Village, IL (where they stopped scanning and the delivery process) through the phone (hard journey until we could get that info) and then they escalated our package and delivered it this morning.

But after 11 days we had originally sent it! and a priority mail should be delivered in 2 - that's what we paid for.

This is some serious BS! It's ok because I have a great feeling about the rest of the AOS journey - so maybe this was all! And I'm praying nothing stupid will happen anymore.
