I'm still confused about the differences, if there is any, between IR1 and IR6.

hi guys it's nicollete here.. been awhile since the last time i posted here. been busy at work..HEHE.. CONGRATS to all who got Approved!!! hmm...i'm just wondering...almost every1 here got their GCs already and INTERVIEW LETTERS... waaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! how come i havent gotten ours yet??? is this normal?????

Nice to have you back. It seems like they are still sending out letters for interviews so it's not too late..when you'll have 90 days since your case was touced you can go ahead and call them to see what is going on...What is your online status saying?

are you sure about that the2ofus? I can call if I had no touches???I never had a touch since the first beginning , my last update is the same as the day my file got on line....

Hoping for good news for everyone this week!

Usually they say to check the timelines for your local office..and if you are out of the processing times to call them...but I remember this even from last year when my husband filed for citizenship, that if it's been more than 90 days since the last notice (no matter what you filed for) they will look into it

guyyyyysss :wow: :wow: :wow: i m the only one here left without anytouch on my aos since biometric and no interview letter ,,my case status says CASE RECIEVED AND PENDING ,, ,,,, till now i did not recieve any RFE ,, absolutely nothing ..... who else here at the same situation as me ,,,,,, helloooo is there anybody here ,, or just me ??? :crying:

we went to pick up our mails at my inlaws house today and i found our interview letter!!!!!!! YEP, they sent it out last week....our appt is on DEC. 03, 2008 @ 1030 AM. hmmm...i really need to do our scrapbook/photo album..been procrastinating...hmmm....it's going to be hard...we dont have a lot a pics... :dance:

YEP, they sent it out last week....our appt is on DEC. 03, 2008 @ 1030 AM. hmmm...i really need to do our scrapbook/photo album..been procrastinating...hmmm....it's going to be hard...we dont have a lot a pics...

I'm sorry you're still waiting. I think there're still a few June filers waiting too: I luv my chappara still waiting for her AOS. You're still within 6 months window, so don't panic too much, but if you want to you can try and call the 800 USCIS # to see what they say :thumbs: :wacko:

OMG BBQ!!!! the I-797C, Notice of Action "REQUEST FOR APPLICATON TO APPEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW" came in the mail today.

No touches on USCIS website since biometrics. (I have been checking this everyday until last week) So I finally stopped checking USCIS site since I only get dissapointed everytime I login. Then, I checked the mail this evening. WOW! What a surprise for us. After several weeks of waiting.

We are both happy to have an interview date. Wow!

Is this the interview everyone is talking about? I was not aware of the "initial interview" vocabulary if it is the same as the "interview".

But I did a search on the internet and it looks like this is it. :thumbs:

For those who are waiting. Be patient becuase it will arrive.

I totally lost track of checking the status since we had firestorms here in SO CAL. Our house nearly burned down, but thank God it didnt.

Hey Saed4! Don`t worry!!!! I`m in the same situation! Actually, I just went for an infopass-to finally get my EAD (because I haven`t received that yet!!!!! :protest: ). I`m not sure when exactely I`ll get it, but I hope in next 2-3 weeks-just like the IO told me. :clock: We will see.
