YanJeff, what was your RFE for? I also got a RFE, and it's related to our tax returns... I filed in late August and the RFE just earlier this week. Obviously still waiting... did you check your status online?

They wanted my tax returns. Which I sent when we filed in the first place.

I will check online again today.

That is really sad if you were able to send the documents before. Well, its hard to contest with immigration. The only thing you can do is to just submit what they ask from you. Anyways, goodluck and hope to hear good news from you soon.

Well, the "good" thing is that they lost something that you can get for free and that they haven't lost something like..let's say the medical assessment..that would have been more painful

On Oct 7, I checked my online status and it says, I765 Card Production ordered..and then Oct 8, I got another touch on my I765 and today, I checked my online status and it says again:

"Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On October 10, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."

I am so confused, I saw the same status back in October 7.

Does anyone of who you experienced the same status?

Yup..I had the same..first email on 9/30 and then the same on 10.03. They actually mailed it out on 10.06

check out fo the day when it will say "we mailed out a notice" the day after that you will find it in your mailbox

that,s normal.i received 2 emails, too. i received one on 9/8 ans one on 9/10 but i did not receive till 9/20 in the box .so don,t worry about it .it may take sometime , but once you get it you 'll be excited and will be legally able to work .

I just wish that my EAD will be here anytime next week. I am having an interview with Citibank and Im getting very nervous about it. Im crossing my fingers and will keep praying. I wonder if I luv my chappara has received her EAD already.???

Im very much sure you'll have good news too, hoepfully within the week. It seems like most of the June filers have reeceived their EAD and GCs and now this forum is quiet and the four of us were the ones left. Lol...anyways, I know we;re all going there..juts be patient.. good luck..

Did you notice that too?! I feel like there is only me-as a June filer (and all the other June filers who didn`t post their cases on this forum B) with 3 more people from this forum still waiting for their EAD and GC.

Anyway, I`m calm (sometimes less calm than I wish to be->when checking my only one I-485 online status available and seeing no changes ) and waiting for my turn to come.

Just like you said-hopefully sooner than later -and your "week prediction"-sounds perfect to me Hope USCIS shares it with us B)

Hi, yeah, I got my EAD and AP yesterday

and the same situation with yours, card production ordered 2x.. so for sure you will get yours this week probably this Wednesday

I have a project job already but I need something that I will go in the office 8-5 .. so job hunting begins tomorrow

and here as well ... sent RFE letter back with requested W-2`s (even though I KNOW I sent it with AOS) and still waiting for a touch or anything that would move my case one step forward...

When I check the website, all I see is "Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred." I don't want to miss something if it's important. Thank you too... I just can`t wait for it to happen!!!! I hope service request will help and maybe even do some magic, so I can finally start working hehhehhe

From the other hand I can tell that all the AOS process makes you realize who you really are! No kidding! I used to think I am a veeeeery patient person (2 months after filing->still cuz no biggy, right? ;-) )but hey, no one else but USCIS proved me wrong ( 4 months after filing and waiting a bit too long for EAD to come-> ) ! heheheheeh

Anyway, still have hair on my head and hope for the best!

When you check your case status online, you will at the bottom page an option to receive update by email. Then it will lead to a page where you will create your portfolio. Then you will have to enter your receipt numbers. Right there, you will see if they have been working on your case. It is a page different from what you check, its like a list that you create using your receipt number.
