Quick question: My wife has 3 middle names (go figure, like me ... latino stuff). In 2 of the NOAs there's no middle initial at all. On the other 2, 2 different middle initials. First and last name are correct though. My lawyer told me that's nothing. What realy matter is the name as appear (would be) on EAD and Green Card. These notices are issued by different clerks. Any comment?

you have to be sure of what name your wife wanna apply with, the most important is first and last name, and you have to be sure that your wife her names are correct in the green card form cause that the important one, i hope someone else will have more details to help !!!

We sent off our AOS package yesterday. Included the I-485 and I-765 for Rin and children; plus I-130 for the children. I looked through the statistics, so EAD should be 2 -3 months and AOS 4 - 8 months barring any complications.

I was wondering what the percentage of K-3's is that get issued a greencard without an interview? I really don't want the greencard before October 9th (our 2nd anniversary - would mean a 10 yr GC instead of 2 yr GC if issued before that date). If they were to issue without interview there is little I can do about that; an interview in September would have to be delayed as I will be travelling that month for my job. I really had planned on filing in August, but needed to get the EAD for Rin and the children before the end of September. That will allow them to get SSN's - we filed a tax extension until October 15th - so that we can receive the tax rebate ($2,100 with them having SSN's; $0 without!).

Anyway, sign me up as a June filer!

I have a copy of the cancelled check but I can't read the #'s very clearly.

Yes, they start w/ MSC. The # on check image and # on NOA did not match. Weird. It's better to wait for NOA.

03-13-13: AOS Fee showed as PAID & sent AOS package certified mail.
03-18-13: AOS package delivered @ 10:50 A.M.
03-18-13: DS-3032 accepted.
03-20-13: IV Bill Invoice.
03-21-13: Paid IV Fee $230.00.
03-23-13: IV Fee showed as PAID.
04-23-13: Sent IV package certified mail.
04-26-13: IV package delivered @ 11:13 A.M.

05-08-13: Case completed @ NVC per telephone call.

05-15-15: Case completed per email from NVC.

06-07-13: Rec'd email from NVC RE: interview date. (letter dated 06-05-13).

07-18-13: Interview date-- PASSED.

Anyone know about how long it takes to get the letter for the biometrics? I figured we would have had it by now.

We applied on the 11th of this month and we got our NOA1 on the 19th. pretty fast I may say!

September 18,2007 ---> Sent I-129F to California Service Center

September 20 ---> USCIS sent out a recepit(NOA1)

I never received the envelop with NOA1..( I think it got lost)

September 24 ---> Check Cashed

September 25 ---> TOUCHED

December 4 ---> I called USCIS and they gave me the receipt number...

FEBRUARY 7, 2008 WE WERE APPROVED!!!!! 142 days from filling date.

February 22, 2008 NVC RECEIVED OUR PETITION. YEY

February 26, 2008 Was sent out to the embassy. OMG!!!

February 28,2008 PETITION DELIVERED IN BUCHAREST AT THE EMBASSY.

February 29,2008 Police Certificate

March 6 Received packet 3

March 20 Interview

MARCH 20 VISA IN HAND

April 5,2008 US ENTRY

April 21,2008 Applied for SSN

April 29,2008 SSN CARD RECEIVED IN THE MAIL

MAY 24 2008 WEDDING DAY !!!!!

June 11,2008 SENT THE PAPERS FOR AOS!
