AOS june 2008 filer

Hi folks,

I'm so glad. Interview was scheduled to November 19th.

Received letter today. Got a standard USCIS notification format and an extra piece of paper saying that if you have criminal issues, bring an explanation. I guess this is related to criminal issues that might happen between today and the day of the interview. Any comments? Any one who received the interview letter to comment please? Also the letter says initial interview ... the wording initial is standard?

Don't forget.. there is still a chance for june filers to be transfered.. we just got transfered the 22nd of Sept and our Bio was back on 7/11. Don't give up hope!@

Hi mine too was not transferred yet..Ive read in here this case was still transferred to CSC after 110 days of filing..but its easier I guess to expect an interview..so you "or me" can prepare also...good luck to us..Oh I just read your timeline your I-130...well most of the I-130s that ive read in here undergo interview...

Hi mine too was not transferred yet..Ive read in here this case was still transferred to CSC after 110 days of filing..but its easier I guess to expect an interview..so you "or me" can prepare also...good luck to us

So what your saying is that if it is not transferred to my local office as of yet, that it is quite possible that it will be transferred to CSC instead? Am I understanding this correctly?

No sorry when I first replied I thought you're based from K1 fiance visa (to be transferred to CSC)..but since you're not what Im saying is most of AOs filed concurrently with I-130 will be transferred to your local office for interview..it depends on the workload of your local office on whenyou will be interviewed

Yep. That's a good thing you can work while waiting. For now, since Im not transferred yet Im really hoping for my ead so I can work too. A never ending lots of luck to us all

I called USCIS this morning, and the CSR said she sent expedite request to the processing center,, she gave me referral # and she said they should reply within 5 days hope it will not be 50 days. I asked her what if after 15 days there's no reply, and she said, nothing can I do about it than to wait ...

So it looks like infopass works better than calling ding it...I should have done that

I guess so, the lady that talked to me was very friendly and seemed to be very informed, even though we had to drive 5 hours back and forth and hubby missed work, it was all worth it, I didn't expect it to be that fast, less than 24 hours, WOW, I guess that just means they aren't as busy just need a pinch to start working again hehehehe

If your local office is close, definitely go for an Infopass, if not just wait for your interview, it's not that much of a wait and you won't need the card anyway
