had our interview jan 23... in new office in Raleigh-Durham NC.

Our original sked was Jan 20, but due to the heavy snow, we did not able to come. (heavy snow-unusual for NC ;) cool for me though...

We called USCIS # and they said, we should write a letter to reschedule the interview, i called again, got the same answer, :) (just wanna make sure- sometimes I don't trust agents a lot :) eheh

So, instead of writing and mailing it, my husband went to the local office after the snowy day, and find out that the make up day for Jan 20 interview is Jan 23,,, see? :unsure: if we mailed it, (as agent told us over the phone) probably it will not reached to the local office right away,,, and we will end up waiting for another weeks, or months for the interview. ;;

During our interview, consul officer was very nice, he just asked me 3 questions: when did we met, when we got married, what job I working now.

He is an old consul about 65 :) but very nice, just a lil bit slow in typing in the pc,.. he only asked for 3 docs as proof of our relationship: I gave joint checkings account, savings acct, and tmobile bill, he did not even looked at our album... saw him stamped approved, he asked for my ead, and gave me a paper stating that i was approved by an USCIS officer, and he explained the next step, what form etc, and said i should receive my GC in 2 weeks.

It was very nice experienced, way better than K1 interview :)

hi don't worry about the website status, sometimes they are not so fast in updating their system.

If the CO said you are approved, you don't have to worry, you will get your GC soon. :)

Thanks roby n kris, ed*riza, joyce :)
