Guys, i have not recieved my ssn yet !!?? its been 3 weeks since i applied for it .

You should try going to the office where you applied for it and ask them if everything has been cleared with DHS (department of homeland secruity) in regards to your EAD (if that's what you used to qualify for one) they should be able to tell you and then give you a print out "certification" of your number...

Actually it will only work if you received their letter saying that they are processing your card, if you didn't get it yet, don't even bother, same happened to me and I just lost an hour waiting at the SSA, if you got the letter, they are able to give you your number

no news here ,, no touches on my aos since biometrics ,, please guys if there is anybody who still did not get any touch on his aos since biometrics kee us posting ,, at lease we will now that we r not alone ,,,,, this forum sounds so so so quiet lately cause evrybody got his green card or ead or interview letteer already ,,,,,, good luck for the rest of us who r still waiting

Hi guys!!

Just wanted to share good news!!! We received our IL!!!!!! The Interview is scheduled for Dec 9th, in Mount Laurel, NJ. I wasn`t expecting it any time soon, since we just got my EAD (after 142 days!!!!) and it looked like our case is not moving forward Also, I had no touch since my RFE (September 15) . All of the sudden we got IL in mail. No online update or e-mail was sent to us with updates. I`m pretty sure that Infopass we had on Oct 27th, had a lot to do with it!!!!

I believe we all are going to "be taking care of" soon!!!! To all of you , who are still waiting for EAD/IL -> head up!!! It will come to you soon!!!!!

omg when i read your post its like u brought life to me agaian i was so depresed,,,CONGRATULATIONS and i m sure your interview will go as smooth as drinking a cup of water ,,,omg u had your biometrics the 15th july exactely like me ,, so i still have hope ,, hpefuly i will get mine next week,, thank u thank u thank u and goood luck ,, ohh before i forget ,, did u get any touch on your aos after biometrics ,, and now that u recieved your interview letter ,, did your aos online status change ???

Thank you for nice words and wishes!!! I`m glad you feel better!!! Don`t ever let the AOS process get to you too much!!! I know how hard it is to stay calm and be patient while waiting for any news/touch from USCIS (sometimes you can go but hang in there!!!!!). I`m sure you will hear some good news soon!!!!!

In response to your questions:

1) I didn`t get ANY "touch" since bio other then my RFE (and it was available online after I sent my RFE letter to USCIS; before that non of my case was visible online!).

2) No, my AOS online status hasn`t change (out of all aplications I sent only I-765 is visible online as "Current Status: Approval notice sent" and I-485 as " Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed").

I wouldn`t count much on USCIS online "updates". In my case they are just not happening ... but as long as I get good news in mail->I`m happy!

If you have more questions, I will be more than happy to help out -> as much as I can

thank u very much ,, u cant imagine how much relief u brought to my life and my patience with the uscis ,, this is gonna give me more feul to keep waiting for a couple more weeks before i get CRAZYYY AGAIN lol.. anyway ,, my status online says CASE RECIEVED AND AND PENDING ,, an other thing ,, is the letter has been sent to u from chicago schedulling u for an interview or from your local office where u r gonna have the interview ???

Received interview letter in the mail on Wednesday set for Dec 17th. We were transferred to CSC but still got sent for an interview so I guess not everyone who is transferred gets a greencard without an interview. Also, no email about the interview, just a letter in the mail.
