Right! I was about to finish and almost forgot to share with you guys that my EAD has been finally ordered!!! Infopass worked for me !!!! All right!!! Now I can relax !!!! And celebrate it properly once I have it in my hands B)

I got back from work all tired and i told my self let check the mail box, i did and i went inside my house without even looking in the mail, then i got feeling to look at it, i found a wierd envolope all white has not sign from DHS , it seems like there's something hard inside, i opened it and i found out it's my Green Card, oh my god i was in shock i stayed quiet for a moment and then i start jumping , yes i couldn't believe my eyes, what a long journey, me and my wife we work hard on that, we're so happy with that ending, woooohooooo !!! All the best of luck to everyone waiting for an approval, keep your faith high and have little more patience, thanks everyone, thanks visajourney.

I know the feeling...I know I will be like that when my GC actually arrives in the mail (and I also got approved for a credit card here (Capital One, their one for people with no credit score), so I will be like that when that arrives too!)

John and LIndsey, i have capital one credit card too but i was just added by my hubby's account, so it's not really mine... Can I apply with my name only? This credit card co. is great because when we used it in international, they did not charged us at all, as long as you will pay on the time. I'm not sure if other credit card co. are like this.... (I don't like using credit card before, I prefer debit card) but now it seems needed here.. for credit etc...

Yes, you should be able to apply in your own name, especially if you already have some good credit from being on your husband's one. Just go to their website and look for the credit cards for people with little/no credit score. I don't like using credit cards either, but as new people in the US, we need to build up credit so we can get mortgages/loans etc in the future, and credit cards are really the only way. When I have a job and a credit score, I will go back to mainly using debit cards, I hate thinking that I owe money!

I received my 10yr GC yesterday in the mail. It was the best Halloween candy ever.

Rachid and canary, congratulations!

How was everyone's Halloween ?We dressed up and went with my brother and sister in law so they could go trick or treating then we passed out candy, we also decorated the house for Halloween, it was awesome!!!!!

thanks for the info... we're not using the credit card though since we came back here in USA, but I will still try. We always used it when we are outside the country.
