Hi All,

We are June filers too. We just sent our AOS package today.

I am adjusting from B2 so I supposed my case will be a lot more difficult. To add to this, mu husband is currently unemployed and 2007 W-2 does not even meet the requirements. We do have a co-sponsor though.

Dec 23 2007 - Came in as Tourist in Utah to visit relatives

Jan 2, 2008 - Visited Sacramento to spend time with old friends.

March 15 2008 - Met my (now) hubby in Tanforan Mall

May 14, 2008 - Moved in to his place in Sacramento

May 22, 2008 - Decided to get married (I was supposed to go back to PH on May 29 but decided just to stay with him).

June 18, 2008 - Sent our AOS Package

Our AOS will be sent this Friday once we receive our certified marriage certificate!

Quick question to all filers: Having read instructions for the I-485, the I-765 and the I-131 they all say you must submit 2 passport style photos with the form making a total of 6 photos if you file them all together. Did anyone else send this many? It seems a lot but if it's what they need to make it go smoothly then we'll do it. The guide on the AOS suggests 2 photos for the G-325A only though.

Yes, if you wanna apply for the AOS, EAD and AP, you will need 2 photos for each application, write you full name and your A # behind each one and put them in plastic bag and attach it to a paper, each in two in bag and put them behind the forms. in the guide line they mentioned just 2 photos for the AOS but if you see that there is a sentence under the other application said:

13. I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, if you want to work while your application is processed (optional)

>> Include any additional required supporting documentation or photos as well as payment as noted here.

14 I-131, Application for Travel Document, if you need to travel outside the United States while your application is processed (optional)

>> Include any additional required supporting documentation or photos as well as payment as noted here.

Kamusta. This overstay itself is not an issue, and you appear to already have a joint sponsor lined up. You will be fine on both fronts. Your case won't be more difficult at all, unless you have something else that complicates your case, i.e., criminal record while in the USA. Otherwise, you will do just fine.
