I was not allowed to watch Grease (no in the 70s anyway) or attend the Jacksons concert. Though for some reason I was allowed to go see Prince on the Purple Rain tour.

This is SO funny! I was a little little girl in the 70's and I can remember having the sunshine family and the donny and marie dolls, and some of that stuff goes into the 80's like the Friendship Pins from Jr High 1984 more or less! I didnt even think people remembered half the stuff! I did get to see Grease when I was in Kindergarten because my parents couldnt find a sitter I think!

I wish I could say I have nothing in common with this thread, but that would be a lie, OMG, you nailed my childhood in one thread. I loved Donny Osmond, he was my man, also Michael Jackson, before he became an alien.

I remember the day the Thriller vid came out. Boy was that a big day!
