Folks, I had promised myself I would not check touches or VJ for two weeks: cannot do it, it is stronger than me. Hope never dies.

What is the latest news from VSC??? WHAT the heck are they up to this month?

I thought that recent rumour about holidays was just that- rumour: the point is, they NEVER went off holidays! They work like I work during holidays!

Any clearer indication of whether they are working on first-in first-out or by NOA1? I remember about a month ago it seemed like it was moving by NOA1, but recently (last 2 weeks), I think I only saw 3 or 4 very old petitons being approved (like 250 days or so), which I am sure gives hope to some of the extreme situations here, but not much to the rest of us (in fact it scares me that mine might take that long!). A couple of expedites here and there, but nothing much, either for K-3 or CR-1..

Any sign that K-3 might be slowing anyone down? Any sign that specific countries/applications are being slowed down,?

Does it matter if the USC is a naturalized USC (although been for 15y)? Does it matter if one lived/worked in several foreign countries? Do they actually call/contact all foreign countries/employers to do your background checks???

Ever since the early May touches, nothing moved, no one touched then got anything, nothing... the only indication for someone that filed close to us was an RFE request, which might be a good sign..

Anyone got any recent insider info that can be buttressed up by recent happenings?

Hope something moves in the next 4 weeks! Can't wait it any longer!!!

I'm not saying a word at VSC anymore, but Im giving it till mid August for a apporval, if not apporved by the time I leave for Paris to see my husband, we will make other plans to ride out this adventure hell ride with VSC.

Hang in there, they cant keep our petitions forever. Also, I know who you feel, I feel like a junkie needing my daily "or more like hourly" VJ fix.

Paris Heart

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Two VJ members reported both their petitions approved by VSC last week.

Whom do you mean, pushbrk? when did they file? From looking at the spreadsheets, I see no significant movement in Jan. Feb. and March filers yet. It seems to me that we are stuck between Nov. and Jan. somewhere, apart from exceptions...
