My wife got a RFE on her AOS saying we did not supply them with the I-693a or ds-3024/3025/3026. So our next step is to obtain them.

She had a medical exam in Hong Kong right before coming to the US, and was given the results in a sealed envelope. We handed it in at the POE.

She also has a vaccination record at her parents house in Hong Kong.

So what do you think our next step should be? Contact the doctor in Hong Kong for another record? Or get that vaccination record from her parents and go to our local civil surgeon and transfer it to a I-693a?

I am just a little bit confused on what to do next.:blink:

Thanks for everyone’s help!

Go to a civil surgeon here to transfer and bring the original, if possible, of the vaccination record to show the doctor here which shots she has gotten.

She will need to get them transferred to the form via another civil surgeon.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You will need to get the vaccinations record transfered to an I-693 by a US Civil surgeon. The records from the visa medical only have medical results, not vaccinations records.

There is a pined post about this at the top of the AOS forum. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=101202

Note: I-693 has changed some.

I-693 instructions page 4

2. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?

If you were admitted as a:

A. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e), or as a

B. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen, and

C. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then-

a. You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, is filed within one year of your

overseas medical examination.

b. You will, however, be required to complete Part 1, Information about you, and submit the

vaccination section of Part 2 with your adjustment of status application. A designated

civil surgeon must complete the vaccination section and Part 5, the Civil Surgeon's Certification.

Again this in not a full medical, only the "supplement" is now part 2 of the I-693 form.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
