This racially hateful BS is part and parcel - integral to, as a matter of fact - the debate over illegal immigration.

Hey genius. Race isn't mentioned by the OP. The only racists posts in this thread are from you and the other 'gringo' haters.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I VOTE ´YES´ FOR LEGAL IMMIGRATION.......thanks for listening , and if you disagree, please wake up and smell the coffee .... ;0P........polskiya

Ok, polskiya, what's your plan then for sending everyone home? And will THAT be cheaper than the burden illegal aliens already put on the economy? It's fine to have a rant, but without any idea as to how to solve a problem, it's just a rant.

SISTER, THANKS FOR REPLY...THE BEST WAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM IS ....THE EMPLOYER WHO HIRES ILLEGALS SHOULD BE 'FINED/JAILED' FOR COMMITING CRIMES OF HIRING THEM..THEN THE 'ILLEGALS' WOULD SELF-DEPORT, TAKE AWAY THE MONEY/JOB-NO ILLEGAL ALIEN COMETH....IT IS ALREADY WORKING IN ARIZONA...SOON HOPEFULLY OTHER STATES WILL 'WAKE UP' ..CALIFORNIA HAS A 36 BILLION DOLLAR DEFECIT BECAUSE OF ILLEGALS.....PRISONS,COURT COSTS,SUPPORT ETC.....DO YOU WANT TO PAY FOR THIS SISTER ? I AM TIRED OF PAYING $14,000-$16,000 A YEAR IN TAXES AND GETTING NOTHING BACK... I AM JUST AN AVERAGE JOE...ALSO HERE IN OREGON, WE HAVE ILLEGALS WORKING, BUILDING HOUSES FOR $10 AN HOUR UNDER THE TABLE, TAKING LIVING WAGE JOBS FROM AMERICAN PEOPLE... I WOULD RATHER PAY MORE AT THE STORE FOR TOMATOES/OR A HOUSE TO SUPPORT AN AMERICAN, THEN PAY LESS FOR MY TOMATOES/HOUSE SO AN ILLEGAL CAN GET THE JOB.. I WOULD BE WILLING TO PAY THAT, NO PROBLEM...

Unfortunately the cartoon is incorrect. In the previous waves of immigration, the immigration was via legal means. This latest wave is due to non-legal means; IOW illegal immigration.

While there may be a small minority of Americans that are in fact racist and don't wish to have anyone of Latin roots here in the US, the majority of the people are irritated by the "in your face" attitude of the illegal immigrant advocates - anyone who wishes to enter the US ought to be able to in their own timeframe, be damned with what the US laws are.

I know for myself it is that way. BTW, before I get classified as a racist or xenophobe or any other derogatry claptrap, understand this: My SO is Mexican and we have talked about the proper way for us to be together and what paperwork is necessary. In addition, because of my proximity to the border I do volunteer work in Mexico. As a matter of fact I spent last evening in TJ teaching English because English is the intenational business language. As I walked back to the border, I stopped and chatted a bit with 2 of "TJ's finest". We touched on police corruption both in the US and in Mexico, drug trafficking, the economies of the 2 countries and the difficulties of raising kids on a tight budget. They were surprised to find a "gringo" (my term not theirs) knowledgeable and interested in their country.

Aside from the fact that this is racist propaganda (in the same way the Nazi anti-Jew propaganda was racist....) it's also SPELLED WRONG.

Sorry. I'm more annoyed that it says "are" than I am about anything else.

*takes off glasses, snorts, and picks up a book*

It's spelled wrong deliberately to illustrate ignorance IMO. There are many people that do mix-up "are" and "our". The cartoon accentuates the point that just like the pin-headed ignorance of the National Socialists' (Nazis) anti-Jew propaganda, there are those that feel that people of European/Asia/Africa descent ought not to be in California and other parts of the US Southwest and that those areas ought to be returned to Mexico. A corollary might be the Anschluss of Austria, the return of the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia and the annexation of large parts of Poland at the beginning of WWII.

You make the exact point that many people IMO feel are the case. its not a racism thing...its a logistics thing. Yes there are down right racist people out there who don't want Latin people here (heck some of them still tell Black Americans to go back to Africa...like thats where we're from), but I feel like most people are fed up with the ATTITUDE that so many illegals seem to have. Its like they feel it their God given right to break another countries law. And they are in your face about it and where i live...very viloent with it. NO ONE is gonna want to deal with that craziness. The border patrol in San Diego gets rocks thrown at them when they are patrolling from the illegal smugglers. One officer was shot and killed a couple months ago by one of them in a attack.

Its stuff like this thats not right. You can't expect to break the law...commit crimes...or even murder people and think that the citizens of the country in which this is happening are going to be receptive of you. There are TONS of illegals from many other countries than Mexico or other parts of South America...but its those illegals that come with the attitude like they deserve all this.

I think the whole point is to look inwardly at our behavior towards other human beings, but legality apparently takes a front seat to humanity in certain sectors of this country. Yes, root out the criminal aspects of everything. That makes sense. With the rest its a matter of legislation and doing things proactively to avoid bipolar conditions that cause certain effects, which again, certain sectors of this country choose to sidestep in favor of knee-jerk policy.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

HELLO,

MY FELLOW LAW ABIDING CITIZENS/NON CITIZENS,YET!... DID YOU KNOW OUR PRISONS IN UNITED STATES HOUSE ABOUT 33% ILLEGAL ALIENS? AT ABOUT $40-$50,000 DOLLARS A YEAR, I AM TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT IT/paying for it, ALSO ON AVERAGE, 12 US AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE KILLED EACH DAY BY ILLEGALS (Thats about 4,380+ per year) you dont hear about that in the news/television do you? My brother was murdered by an illegal alien gang member in L.A. in 1995, My cousin, a mother of 5 children, killed by an illegal alien drunk driver on mothers day this year....now another cousin of mine had to go through all the USINS #######, pay about $5000,medical,background,wait 5 years, etc, now my fiance is going through same thing...ALL YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE ON THIS WEBSITE KNOW WHAT I MEAN !!! YOU are going through same thing....now, what I am trying to say is, I have no sympathy for illegalls, we cant feed everybody, some one has to be resbonsible, I say kick them out, we cant afford it anymore..there are estimated 30-40 million illegals in the US...every year an amount of illegal anchor babies is born from them, about city of the size of Chicago, more problems...who is going to pay for this? inquiring minds want to know...and the answer to some other people´s questions is yes! we are being invaded by law breaking people.......I VOTE ´YES´ FOR LEGAL IMMIGRATION.......thanks for listening , and if you disagree, please wake up and smell the coffee .... ;0P........polskiya
