We noticed A number has different numbers,NOA starts with zero, visa number omits a zero "0" number.The NOA has A 0123 456 789 while the visa has A # 12345678.We followed the one the on my NOA not in the visa which omits the "0".

Which one do we use NOA or the visa?the visa does not have the "0".

Removing Conditions

5-24-2010 - Sent I-751 to Vermont Service Center via USPS (receipt/signature required)

5-25-2010 - Delivered to Vermont Service Center & Signed For

6-1-2010 - I-751 Receipt Notice Received in Mail (dated 5/26/10)

*time Passed

7-30-2010 - Biometrics date: August 13, 2010

8-13-2010 - Biometrics Finished

*time passed

8-30-2010 - email received 'card production ordered'

8-31-2010 - touch (updated on uscis as approved)

9-4-2010 - Received 10yr Green Card ** Now we relax **

Visa number is the red number in her visa . A is for alien number that start with 0 that can be found in NOA2

12/23/2010- Resend the packet with complete pages.

12/29/2010- Check cashed in

01/03/2010- Receive NOA

01/10/2011- Email from USCIS for the Required Evidence( Finger printing)

01/26/2011-Biometric Schedule

02/07/2011-USCIS online status update-

02/12/2011- Received Interview Letter Scheduled March 14

02/12/2011- Received Descheduled letter

02/17/2011- USCIS online Status update

02/22/2011-New IL arrived schedule for March 29

02/22/2011-Descheduled Letter Again ( 2nd Time)

02/23/2011- I called USCIS and I was told new schedule in the computer for March 22

02/23/2011-USCIS ONline update....

03/01/2011-Interview Letter for March 22 @ 7:15 AM

03/22/2011- Interview and Oath; US Citizen

We understand that,however which number do we use the A number on the visa or the one on NOA2?

I used the number that starts with 0 and I have no problem with it.

I used the number that starts with 0 and I have no problem with it.

ok, we have also used this on all of our forms we are submitting (using the NOA2 then). However we noticed this morning that the examples-here, that are suggested 'appeared' to have used the Visa A #. Just the number only (no A or # or 0) :wacko: We are just making last minute document checks and wanted to be clear and sure..Thanks!
