Hi Folks

I will be getting transfered by my company soon. I am already living in a hotel room in my new state.

Do I have to inform any one?

Or can we take care of that after Angela gets here in 2 weeks?

When my then fiance ( Joe) applied for our K1 he had a different address from our present residence now. Even before I was interviewed , Joe already relocated to where we are now but we maintained the old address in our papers ( DS forms during the interview) so everything is consistent. Anyway, he was not expecting any notice from the USCIS because our application was already in the USEM when he moved. So during my interview I still used the old address even if Joe has already relocated.

When I was interviewed at my POE I still gave the old address.

We have an account in the USCIS website to monitor the updates of our cases ( K1 and now AOS) so we changed our address thru their website. They have a form there that you have to fill up. For our AOS papers, we already use our current address.

Since your fiancee is arriving soon, I suggest you change your address when she is already here. You can change your address in the USCIS website even without an account.

Hope this info helps. Goodluck!
