Touched today on a holiday!-Going to NVC perhaps!!!

I just checked my status on my approvals and the system shows touched today on a Holiday!!!!!!!

Hopefully on the way to NVC

I'm going CR1 .... K3 would've been about the same time anyway, if they were approving them at Vermont, but they weren't.

CR1 is much cheaper and more practical in the end.

By the way, I've checked the NVC forum and according to other postings on there ... our touches are indeed our files being exited out of USCIS to be transferred to NVC ..... thank God!!!!

Apparently Vermont files take 24-48 hours to arrive and California files take up to a week.

Bye Bye USCIS .... it's been fun .... see you in about 2 years!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! This is soooo excited..... After 9mos of waiting it is finally our turn!

The ONLY reason I'm pursuing the K3 is because my Husband's country takes about 5 months with interview dates for CR1's. I just don't have the time to wait.

I don't mean to change the subject, but how do you find out about the approximate interview dates for the country?

Personally, I researched the interview date timings in the UK forum .... maybe you should see if there is one in the Germany forum ..... or in the Consulate forum.

I'm sure the German ones will be pretty fast, like the English ones as there doesn't seem to be so many filers from our countries

I got both petitions approved at Vermont.

Also, I agree, it could be there by tomorrow.

As for the other question asking how do I know the interview timelines for the country.

For me, I went onto to the African Sub website and looked at the timelines posted by Zenusah. She has timelines posted from waiting for NOA1-NOA2, to time from NVC to interviews being scheduled. I also read the latest threads for those who filed K3's for Nigeria and compared all of their timelines and threads. It's taking on average about 5mos. This may not be the case for other countries though.

5 months is terrible

it's about 6 -8 weeks in England .... even faster for military .... poor you!

I agreee you need the K3 definately ... you were lucky they gave it to you
