Hello visa friends. I'm here on this site to ask for positive advise and share my situation. I ask for positive encouragement and knowledge.

Me and my wife's visa application has been pending one year as of May 19, 2008.

We have the local congressman involved in our casse. letters have been sent to the California service center and we keep getting the same responce back. PENDING FINAL SECURITY CLEARANCE. Is there anything i can do to expidite this case or take it through another legal hoop?

This is making our process very difficult. God bless everyone and please respond with positive feedback. This has been very difficult for our marriage and our emotions not going anywhere in this one year pending.

This is quite terrible .... just a thought, any chance of getting a police certificate from your country sent to them ?

It is possible that they have you confused with someone on a name check .... if you can provide a clean police certificate early, it may help.

This is really only a thought, as they are being very silly with a year to do a security check.

Hello.

I'm sorry to hear about another couple having to wait even longer than I have been waiting.

My wife's visa has been pending since july 12th 2007.

Contacted congressman, vice president, senators, and a BAD lawyer.

My case is with and adjudicating officer and has been for one month or so. This is all the info I have been given. :crying:

I can relate with you completely. Stress on marriage, emotions, anger, sadness, etc.

Very soon is all that anyone can say to me. But how soon?

It seems like one year means "soon" for a F'd up beaurocratic "system?"

bless

I pray that you receive an approval soon. I mean "soon" like a number of days "soon"

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

Consulate : Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Marriage : 2006-12-13

AOS

I-485 & EAD Sent : 2008-11-07

NOA : 2008-11-24

Biometrics appt.: 2008-12-11

Hi Angie Y Shane & Jonbless,

I'm sorry to hear about to you. Actually, my case also almost close to a year, i.e. it will be a year this July 10th. I could understand how hard it is to be apart from the loved one... emotional swings, tears etc. but please never lose hope, okay! Indeed marriage is very sacred knot between two people. Keep praying to God!

Soon, very very sooon like number of days 'soon', God will approve our petitions, ameen!

Hi my fellows,

I'm sorry to hear about this in your case. Whenever i see someone getting approved i feel happy for them like what i felt with my case before, but i feel double sadness whenever i read cases like this with you guys. I know it's so hard especially being apart with our loved ones, and i would like you to know, my sympathy for you. I want to extend my one of my "lucky charms" and wishing that you will hear positive result in your case.
