NOt sure if anyone cares but reallly could use some support here. I thought about it and decided I would do my best to raise my spirits and try to look better for my husband when (insha'allah) he gets here.

Soooooo I got up and went for a run... yeah in hijab lol had my music on and really enjoyed the run. I am sure the people saw me thought I was bizaarre now that I've started really could use some support ladies and gents to keep it up!!

Now that would be a sight! Good work, and keep it up, I will sit and sip my coffee in honor of your hard work.

Sweet! Keep it up!!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Good for you! I just started an exercising routine also. I've been at it about a month and a half. It doesn't get any easier to make yourself get off your tush and do it. I still hate exercising but I do it every day, except the weekends. Good luck! I hope you can keep it up.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

is there a running group that you could join in your area? a friend you could run with?

Saw this in Health magazine maybe it will help find someone www.Health.com/girlsgottamove

Says you can search by zip code for running partners in your area :)

I just started getting back to the gym too. My coworker used to be a physical trainer, so he comes to get me at noon, and we work out for an hour at lunch. I've never worked out with someone before, but its working for sure. I've been doing it for almost a month, and have lost 5lbs, and can already see some definition back in my arms and stomach. It's been good. If you can find someone who can push you, then go for it. Days when I want to eat fries at my desk, he comes to get me, and I've got no choice but to get to the gym.

If I want to look good in a bikini and my surfboard in a few months for Hawaii, I figured I'd better get on it!

That's terrific. I want to start running. I just haven't gotten the shove out the door I need yet.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
