Shape! Congrats! Malapit ka na. I called USEM last Tuesday pero wala pa daw sakanila un from NSO. Haaay, I hope they receive it next week so I can receive it before June 20!

HI shape thank you for posting this. I also feel heavy inside because of this waiting. I know I paid earlier for my document verification fee, I paid April 17, 2008 and I had my interview May 12, 2008. But until now, when I send a text message to delbros it keeps telling me that it is not released to delbros yet, it is still in process at the embassy. I also know of someone i met at the us embassy during my interview, we had the same interview date and she paid delbros on may 7 but yesterday, june 6 she texted delbros and she got a reply that her visa is in transit to cebu. She is also CR1.

My husband called us embassy last last week and he talked to a lady and the lady told him again to wait 6 weeks after the interview date. My husband called again last week and he talked to Loyd and Loyd is telling him that they are still verifying my documents and to wait 8 weeks after the interview date for the visa to arrive. And this week, my husband called, Friday and he talked to a lady and the lady is telling him again to wait 6 weeks.

I am wondering if paying the document verification earlier would help? Because I know some paid late but they already receive their visa.

There are some of us interviewed this April and May 2008, with visa approved but due to pending result of Document Verification from NSO, our visas will be delayed until NSO forwarded the verification results to USEM-Manila. (As a fact, Document Verification means to verify the genuine identity and civil status of Beneficiary, that the papers being submitted to USEM are not being falsified. Basically, it's the Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Certificate of NO Marriage(CENOMAR) and "if" beneficiary was previously married, the "annulment papers of beneficiary" ).

There's nothing to worry about if the CO issued the pink slip already that says "Visa Delivery Payment" that means "Approved" but only with delayed visa.

We've waited couple of months of our petition to be approved by USCIS , so why not with only weeks of our "Surely Visas"?

So, Anyone would like to be included and not shy to be in the list of waitings?

Congrats!!! Finally, your waiting is over...

My fiance, call USEM and Lorain told him that my visa is already approve and they can"t send it to Delbros till tuesday because she said Monday is Holiday here in Philippines.... Is it really holiday on Monday??? so probably anytime next week i will receive my visa too.... I'm crossing my finger ..... My documents was send back to USEM last May 27.... hope everything now will be ok...

I am so sorry that your husband getting different answers from those people. I suggest that your husband call this number:

(63) 02-301-2000 local Ms. Grace/ Ms. Lorraine , tell your husband to ask Ms. Grace/Ms. Lorraine when they submitted document verification to NSO, or if they receive already the result of verified documents of your paper. (your husband will be asked about your MNL case number and name)

Please update us, what they will tell you this time. That is the number where you can get status of your visa, and the person in-charge.
