I would suggest he go see a different lawyer, and be sure that this one has dealt with Arabs and Arabian countries and visa issues.

I agree with Noura 100% that he shouldn't be finding someone to marry-- Jackie I understand your concern and statement though. It actually may not help anyway, as I know of people who have tried this and still got the boot.

He is a lot better off if he has to leave and does, free and clear of any attempts to stay such as a last-minute marriage.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

The new wife/fiance will automatically make him lose credit. You personally know he's not fraud but immigrant waits to get those people and send em back. They won't consider his feelings and i doubt they will see it as personal hardship since he is male and from an Arab country - the wife didn't abuse to that extent or if she did there should be proof.
