I updated the above Visa Journey link containing information for the US Embassy in Ukraine. Changes were made to email contacts, Embassy business hours, and a few others. The prior information was outdated as the Counsulate made changes in Febuary 2008.

I hope the new information helps.

Thanks for your updates! I did some few months ago but just a bit.

I read your story about what happened to you in the aiport. Horrifying! I made my husband to read it and he couldn't believe it! Crazy! I cannot even imagine how stressful it was. It's great that you had an option to break the thing and avoid all the repercussions. That's a nasty situations, I'm glad that it's over! Thank you for sharing, it's very helpful!
