Fees for IR-1

Other than the $355 to file the I-130, what other fees do I need to expect for the rest of the IR-1/CR-1 process? I have completed the K-3 process for myself and now am trying to help a friend complete the IR-1/CR-1 process and I am not sure and don't quite remember all the rest of the fees (medical, biometrics, interview, etc...) that are not mentioned on the information page. The IR-1 will be processed in mexico. Thank-you for your help. This really brings back memories.

Also, do you send in the the "proof of bonifide mariage" with the I-130? This is something new.

Later at the NVC, you´ll have to pay the AOS bill of $70 and the IV bill of $400. Then right before your interview, there are some medical expenses and an interview fee. That varies by location.

There is no "interview fee" for an IR1 visa. The visa fee is paid to NVC earlier. There may be a small fee for mailing the passport and visa.

Newlyweds who haven't lived together in the same country yet can actually skip the suggested additional evidence of bona fide relationship when filing, but will need as much as possible at the visa interview.
