Hi all,

My fiancee and I have prepared over 25lbs of evidence for her to bring to the interview, phone bills, text message staments, pictures, plane tickets, Yahoo chat conversation one page per day...etc. I bought her one full size and one half size portable file box from Staples to put it in. She has organized all the documents and evidence into those boxes but it's too heavy for her to carry. Now I regret thatI should have thought of getting the one with wheels...well it is too late to send her one...her interview is on the 3rd of June. My questions how much evidence did you bring to the interview and how? Thanks in advance.

My wife carried about two inches of evidence including a copy of the initial submission in a five dollar accordion file from Walmart. Examples and logs are the key, not tonnage.

Order of importance.

Documents necessary for your case.

PICTURES together. Pictures with her family score high!

Phone records

Money receipts

One or 2 emails, chats and screen prints per month.

She can carry extra in a separate briefcase in case they want more proof.

Reduce it to 5 lbs.

I know you've worked hard on it, but 25 pounds seems like an awful lot.

I sent my husband with a big looseleaf binder with these clear slash folders, so he could see it all clearly and had easy access to pull them out and give the interviewer whatever he needed. For things like birth certificates, etc., I put the original with a copy right behind it so it was easy to show the original then give the copy for the interviewer to keep.

My wife carried about 50 pieces of paper that included the I134, employment letter and three years taxes, 4 or 5 emails and 4 or 5 chat records. No pictures, No accordions, No violins and No pianos  You are doing an overkill - Keep a couple each - records from the beginning, middle and end of this 'relationship' period and do not carry all this superfluous material - you have killed many trees already - they are going to come back and haunt you in an upcoming Steven King book! Vietnam is a very high fraud post, so so extensive evidence is good but again it's samples and examples that count, not the tonnage. Five pounds is more than enough.

Here are some ways she can pare down the weight. If it's an email or chat of multiple pages, include only one page from each. If there are daily communications, take out all but one or two a month AND only one page from each.

You could then print a log of emails or chats to show the frequency of your communications. Scan those and email them to her if she doesn't have them already.

I also used similar clear folders in 2 looseleaf binders full of evidence for my husband's K-1 interview and again for our AOS interview, sooo much easier to organize and pull out when the interviewer ask to see them!

My wife had our daughter carry a briefcase with all the evidence she didn't plan to use but might come into play if there was problems.

Pictures did most of the talking and CO only looked at phone records which we had records showing almost daily calls using AT+T for a year.

Different COs seem to have different priorties.

I fastened all my chat logs and emails with an ACCO fasteners so the CO could flip and read whichever she wants. Well, eventually, she just flipped it and read one of the chat logs for a couple of seconds so it's all good.

Strange enough, the CO asked for my university transcript after she asked if I plan on working in the US. Luckily I brought all my education transcripts with me. I remember I read one of the post here that one girl was asked for her university certificates in Saudi Arabia so I thought better be safe than sorry :star:

Good luck!!!
