post-46066-1211692384_thumb.jpgpost-46066-1211692384_thumb.jpgWe have abbandon thk god the k-3 process, which is stuck in a wormhole at vermont service center! At first when vermont changed our status to cr-1 by holding up on the i-129f for k-3s ,i was pretty upset at first, because i didnt understand what was going on,but now i do,and thk god it turned out this way!Everyone knows that when you do a k-3,you will have to adjust your status here in the US apply for an EAD among other things, which is causing a further backlog, threw the entire system! In the way their doing it,they will approve your i-130 first in most cases now pretty quickly,(ours in only four months)and then your at the NVC where all the processing will be done, before going to the embassy of your spouse. To me in this way they start out by having your file from the service center, where you filed with all of the documents, birth certificates, marriage certificate, copys of passports ect,you pay the fee bills send any information they require they review everything and can see you have a bonifide marriage and then complete your case, which is what the embassy of your spouse will recieve from the NVC here in the US!Your spouse is given an interview about 30 days after the case is complete,so they can get a medical, pass the medical and also re-making sure they will have everything they need at interview,at this point in most cases there shouldnt be to much of a problem of iv apporval and getting your visa next day pickup or in a few days by courier! After reading a lot of post here and seeing alot of simular timelines i can see that once your at the NVC as far as a cr-1 is things are moving pretty quickly! We recieved our Nvc case number on 4/23/08 about three weeks later our iv fee bill and aos fee bill were generated and on 5/5/08 Nvc sent them to our lawyer which our lawyer recieved both two weeks later. We have since sent payment for both which our lawyer will recieve tuesday morning by priority fedex. Our lawyer will send the payments immediately to the payment center in st louis. With all this said and knowing that the NVC is moving rather quickly What kind of time frame might We be looking at from that point to recieveing packet 4 with an interview date and time?Thks very much and godspeed to all!!!!111
