My husband is going to be deployed some time soon and we are planing to file the paperwork for AOS shortly...

Interview for Green Card probably will be scheduled in regular cases at the end of autumn...

My question is...if he is gone will immigration officer interview me alone,or my husband has to be there with me???

I'm not sure if there is special consideration if one spouse is deployed, but in normal cases both of you are required to be at the green card interview. If you are lucky the case will be transfered to a service center and approved without an interview! Otherwise, you may have to request an interview date when he can be there too.

Hopefully others who were in similar situations will comment too.

Hi!

I am going through the same thing. Just include a letter with your application stating the circumstances and they will take it into consideration. I have called and spoken to a few of the representatives on the help line about it. So if you just show that he's in the military and if possible supply a copy of his orders.

Should be fine. Let me know how you go though, or i'll let you know how i go haha.
