As for your assertion that Western civilization is corrupt - well, in some ways it is, but the corruption is not a result of sexual freedom and your claim that it is doesn't bother me nor do I wish to change that aspect of society.

"Sexual freedom" has a LOT to do with corruption in any society. We were designed to have a very specific family structure.... a mother, a father and all that comes along with that. "Sexual freedom" leads to missing parents and passing down immorality from one generation to another to begin with. Of course there are circumstances that make this family structure impossible, like the death of a parent. "Sexual freedom" also leads to the spread of diseases.

Personally, I don't care what anyone does in the privacy of their own home.... I'm talking about what is accepted in public. Two men or two women who want to boink each other in privacy have no affect on me at all..... just don't allow them to adopt, be artificially inseminated or influence any children with their corrupt lifestyle.

These are huge factors in corruption but they are not alone.

Actually, I wouldn't say "wealth" is a factor but greed is. A person can be wealthy and generously be involved in charity work.

I just can't understand in my mind how in this day and age people can still be so judgmental and intolerant of other people and their lives.

Let go of the hate and prejudice and see everyone as equal.

The world would be a much better place. Gay people are humans just like you and I, they should be allowed the same exact rights that you and I have. It's getting better but it's people like you who, with your fear, misinformation and total lack of respect for others rights that make it a painfully slow process.

I'm done now talking about this obviously because my brother, a human being, the same as anyone else is gay and this discussion DOES effect me. Why shouldn't it? I love him. He's my family, my blood. But do you know what? I'd feel this way even if he wasn't gay. We are all people. Let there be peace.

No, it's because you interjected your family member into the discusion, making it personal for you and I don't wish to be involved in such an argument. Again, your ideas on what is the 'ideal' family unit are based on a false construct. The isolated two parent family is somewhat of a Western notion and is by no means the only way to organise the human family unit. In fact, I would suggest that a more normal human family unit would be communal as per other primates, a collection of adults supporting one another and mutually caring for the offspring. I am not suggesting that we could or should adopt this but biologically, it's probably nearer to normal than what we recognise as normal in our society.

Sexual freedom doesn't lead to disease however, irresponsible sex can.

I am curious though as to which criminal activities you think would reduce, which heinous acts would disappear were the corrupt west to adopt more sexually restrictive practices?
