Why is it any more ridiculous for me to consider homosexuality as an abnormal sexual behavior than for us to have the same opinion about family members having such relationships?

Because what I consider to be unacceptable isn't merely some foible but relates to consensuality and equality and has nothing to to with abnormality. Minors can't choose to have sex with adults from a position of equity so the probability is for this to be an abusive situation. The same can be said for sexual relations that might occur within a family. Sex with animals, again abusive.

There is nothing abusive about a normal homosexual relationship. Two consenting adults who just happen to be either both male or both female instead of one of each. That's it, that's the only difference between your normal and abnormal.

As for your semantics - you want homosexuality to be illegal, that's intollerant and abusive.

Where is adultery against the law? It is against biblical law, but there are also quite a few things in the bible that are "illegal" (especially old testament) that would be ludicrous to consider as illegal today. In many states adultery isn't even allowed to be brought up in divorce cases.

And comparing homosexuality to a man having sex with his daughter is also a bit ludicrous, IMHO.

So you don't like it. That doesn't mean it's illegal.

I believe there are two types of homosexuals..... the predator and the prey (both mentally imbalanced) which makes it impossible for both parties to consent to the act from a position of equity. You have your opinions I have mine.

You are correct, I do not believe I should be forced to tolerate open immorality where my children, or others in the community, can be exposed to it and possibly be corrupted by it.

Everyone is "intolerant" of certain matters to at least some degree, including you.

Two grown family members may argue that they aren't hurting anyone and are both consenting adults willing and able to enter into a sexual relationship together but it doesn't make it right either.

I know this will piss a lot of ppl here off but I'm sure it will come as no surprise to those who know me and have read my past posts....

I also don't think we should be so tolerant and accepting of sex outside of marriage because, like homosexuality, it corrupts the very fabric of a decent society. I wouldn't expect to gain a lot of support from others in open, liberal western countries here because these societies have already become corrupted to their cores.... that's why these heinous acts are openly accepted and even praised in these Godless societies. This isn't just my opinion but can be evidenced by the sheer number of crimes committed in these countries every day. Instead of instilling ppl with the necessary morals to bring the crime level down, they just rewrite and abolish laws so the criminals are no longer criminals....

I do, however, believe there are sexual deviants out there (the predators) who prey on others and yes I have known copy-cat homosexuals.... who either used it as a way to rebel in some way or as a cry for attention. I don't need a scientific study when I have known people who underwent this personally.

And no, homosexuality is not something you're born with. Chilren are not attracted to anyone in a sexual way.... it's something we learn as we grow. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out either. Just look at how what type of people are considered attractive varies from one society to another.... in one communtiy skinny woman are it while in others big women are more preferable..... because we learn these things from our surroundings.

In all seriousness, I don't think you understand human nature at all if you think children are sexually attracted to anyone There comes a time that children begin to become aware of sexuality and, yes, they learn from what's around them.
