No, you have been saying 'homosexuality isn't genetic'. I am merely saying that the gene hasn't been isolated. It may never be isolated but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

So it's OK for you to believe in a gene that doesn't exist when there is no proof of its existance but it's not OK for me to believe in God, who does exist because there's no proof (you say)?

Not bad.....

Not very good either. How Alhamdulillah gets from 'there isn't 100% proof' to there is 'no proof' is back to the misunderstanding of science and is also a misrepresentation of what I said. Scientific tudies have been conducted that point to the probability that there is a gene that influences sexual orientation. There is no conclusive proof from these studies but that isn't the same thing as there is no proof of that the studies show marginal or insignificant results.

There are no studies that have pointed to the probability of gods existance, let alone that it is likely that god exists. However, to avoid insensitivity here, I am not categorically stating that god doesn't exist and that those who believe god exists are foolish.

Back to the more siginficant statement - homosexuality is a sexual variant, not a defect. It is not a problem and it doesn't need a solution. All that is required is for more people to accept that it is a variant and allow homosexuals to live their lives without prejudice and with contractual relationships.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Not totally ot here, but doesn't Canada allow same-sex couples to immigrate?

Good question.

I will have to check with a friend that used to work for immigration.

That was easy (and I'm not shocked at the answer):

Prediction: 2012 will be the year of the first same sex VJ couple. It won't matter though because an asteroid is due to obliterate us that year.

That looks like the good news Wideawake..., and things are not usually quite as easy as it first appears.

Although it is not a flat out NO like here in the U.S. of A.

Eric&gen, you may be offended by such overt sexual displays, and you must know what interesting thingies straight people do too, do you not?

Have you not heard of BDSM (on example of many)?

Not to mention that at least some people are enjoying themselves in a way they see fit.

There is a giant spectrum of what each individual person is comfortable doing/being whether straight, gay, lesbian, transgendered or bi.

Wouldn't you say you know or have seen "straights" that are uptight, and "straights" that are overt?

Hmmm?

And as for December 21st, 2012, we won't be obliterated nor sneezed upon.

What the spiritualistic types are saying is an awakening of sorts.

If you have been allowing your intuition to work and manifesting/creating your life, as we all have free will, your "powers" will be 100 times greater....or something like that. There are plenty of videos on google video and youtube to check out, as well as writings.

Let me know what you uncover.

The cheese is in Britain?!

Who moved it?

(Hahahaha!)
