2008 would mark the 20th year of the Gay Pride Parade March here in Birmingham. This has always been a very peaceful march with a strong showing of support from the Birmingham community. (We aren't all a bunch of back woods hicks lynching people for their sexuality, color of their skin or religious beliefs, no matter what some people who live outside the South would have you believe.)

Oh. And this just in. The Gay Pride Parade permit WILL be issued this year. So suck it, Langford.

In the behavioural sense probably not, but a baby's DNA and biology isn't static and correct me if I'm wrong - but its rather different to that of an adult.

Puberty - however, it isn't as though humans are born as some kind of emotional hemaphrodite, capable of aquiring either orientation dependant on environmental factors. Although, that does appear to be Alham's position.

At age 5 my son would rather play with his sisters barby dolls rather than the GI Joe dolls I gave him. At age 7 I asked him what holoween costume he wanted. He said Cinderella. At age 8 I would try to get him to play baseball or soccer with me, he said he wanted to stay home and write poetry instead. I am no expert but at age 17 when he said he had a boyfriend none of us were surprised.
