I just take offence when someone comes on the board and states they loath human beings that don’t happen to live their life style.

It's not fear to believe it's a SIN and immoral. I don't "fear" homosexuality, I loathe it, there is a difference.

I think you'd have to be very thin-skinned to be offended by something like that.

I must have thin skin then because I was disgusted by that pic. Jesus is a prophet in my religion and others and a prominent figure in the world today and NOT someone to be mocked and ridiculed. You don't have to accept him as a prophet or even as being real but it's not appropriate to mock religious figures just because you choose not to have a religion.

Firstly - you don't have "ownership" of Jesus Christ, nor do your views represent a plurality of ALL religious people as much as a plurality of a CERTAIN TYPE of religious person.

That TYPE of religious person is generally willing to make wild assumptions about the beliefs of others who hold views contrary to their own - and (in their words) must therefore have no religion. Its not the first time someone has made that assumption - though anyone who's been around here long enough probably knows by now that I'm no hard-core atheist.
