i heard people who called the NVC a few days after getting the NOA2 and got their case number, then again called the manila USE to check if their case is already there and have made a schedule for interview and medical without waiting for the confirmation letter that will be received by the beneficiary.

ALSO, there are people who didnt call the NVC but instead after getting the NOA2, they just waited for the confirmation letter from the manila USE before they get their schedule for interview and medical.

so please share your experiences with regards to what did you do in getting your case number and schedule for both medical and interview..

i find calling than waiting better though additional spending is required.

My sweetie and myself are in the same boat and are curious as well. We will await for advise right along with you.

I think any additional expense worth it, just my opinion.

I would call the NVC in about a week or 2. I dont know how fast the CSC is moving now, but it took them a month just to ship our file to the NVC after we were approved. They send them in bundles. Once it gets to the NVC, K-1 are processed really fast and will only be at the NVC for about a week and will be on its way to embassy. The NVC will send you a letter that they have sent it to the embassy.

we called NVC afer a week of approval, the others got their mnl case no. after 2 weeks. but in my case we got it after 3 weeks.

we just kept calling the NVC.

after a week that we got the MNL case number from NVC we called the USEM to ask if the case forwarded alraedy. and they said it's still not there yet and call again next week, but I did'nt wait for the next week called them again by monday and they confirmed that case already there.

I called the call center right away to set appontment and had my medical after 2 days..

goodluck to u and just keep calling..
