Hello All:

My Fiance had his interview today in Naples. He went presented all the papers, the interviewee said that his interview went well that all the papers were fine, They asked him to return at 4:00 pm. When he returned they said that they had too many 50 visa applications in that day and they were only able to issue 30 visa and that they were going to send his passport back to him in Florence in two days via DHL. Does this mean his has his visa? I am so confused.

Please help.

Regina

It sounds to me like that is an approval, yes:-). If they were denying him they would have not kept the passport, or given it back to him right away. Saying they had too many visas to process that day means that they didn't have enough time to physically get around to processing your fiance's visa that day but would be doing so the next day and returning the passport with the visa to him via courier the day after that. So, congratulations!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
