Hi,

Just wondering if there are any recent approvals of i-751 from VSC. It has been 6 months since they have received it. It hasn't been "touched" since our biometrics appt. It used to be that it took them around 6 months to get it done. Is that still the case? :hehe:

Same here. VSC now takes cases from TSC and looks like now it takes more than a year for I-751s. They processed Aug/Sep cases a few months ago but now looks like went back to process old TSC cases.

This is totally ridiculous. I honestly don't think those TSC cases should have been sent to Vermont! Perhaps it would have been better had they been evenly distributed between NSC & CSC since those guys are processing the I-751's in record time. Sorry to vent but I have little patience for stupidity....I feel we pay alot to have our conditions removed, and that should be done in a reasonable amount of time. I know that there are several people waiting a lot longer then me, but to only have 1 case approved (on this board) in the last month or so is uncalled for.

I agree, they should have been sent to CSC like the TSC cases that were filed after July 1, 2007 (and which were rapidly approved). From what I understand, though, the service centers have been slowed down by the seasonal surge in H2B visa filings. That should let up soon. Still, if I were a direct filer at VSC, I wouldn't expect to be approved at this point in less than 10 months, minimum. If you feel this way now after only five months, imagine how you will feel after a year has gone by and you still haven't been approved.

Meh

I agree. All we can do is wait like sitting ducks. Sorry but I guess I don't like having my life on hold!

We filed the I-751 at VSC in August and had biometrics done in September. Our case hasn't been touched since the biomterics were done. I agree that this long wait is ridiculous in that we paid $545 for the I-751 and VSC is this far behind compared to CSC, which is approving these much faster.
