I'm no McCain supporter (McCain 2000 yes, 2008 no way) but the man has earned the right to call his captors and torturers any damn name he wants.

IMO this is a non issue.

McCain made it clear that his anger extends only toward his captors. As a senator, he was one of the leaders of the postwar effort to normalize U.S. relations with Vietnam.

based on my personal experience which I shan't elaborate, I relate to his sentiments very well.
