Just when I was about to give up looking for a week or so 2 emails came into my inbox about 15 mins ago from CRIS. It was the approval notice for both the I-129f and I-130. I cant believe they actually approved both after all we have heard recently about K-3's not going through. So this is good news for all of us at VSC as something has finally happened!

I'm just scared I'm gonna wake up in a minute and it was a dream! I was getting really stressed and down about the whole thing.

It has also been updated on the case status online.

Cheers

Dave :D

Dave that is FANTASTIC!!!!!

It is so good to see this happy smiley finally!

And OMG I just now see you're at Vermont? YES :D happy smiley for the rest of us K-3 filers, cuz K-3 isn't dead at Vermont afterall!!

Do you realise you're the first VSC I-129F for K-3 approval posting on this forum in many many months?

You just made my weekend.

Brilliant WOOHOO!!

It made my weekend too Catt. And without wanting to sound cheesy because of being so happy right now, I am pleased it makes others happy too and gives hope. Especially the K-3 being approved. That was unexpected and a real shock!

Thanks to all for the well wishes. Come on VSC - it's time to approve lots more now.

CONGRATS!!! It seems as if they are finally processing cases stuck in Vermont since August/September '07. And seeing that someone from England was waiting that long made me wonder how long will the rest of us poor souls have to wait  . Feels good that they are trying to process applications that have been there the longest, it's only fair, and seeing it gives hope to many, this is about knowing that VSC will honor the date applications were received. Keep going VT, I think everybody here is rooting for you guys, let's catch up with the 'westside boys' -the CSC...

This sucks more than anything else has ever sucked before.

An October 2007 I-130, I-129F filer.

Should've played the Green Card Lottery instead - it's less random and more reliable.

Congratulations! We were also approved today on both forms. It came at the right time when both of us were starting to think we wouldn't get approved for another 6 months. Fortunately she was home for lunch when I found out so I could tell her right away. I'm on cloud 9 at the moment.:star::dance::star::dance::star::dance:

Maybe VSC were told they would get Memorial day off if they approved x amount of cases today!

Yesssssssss! VSC is now moving. Nice one Bob&Hazel getting approved on both petitions today too. That is excellent news for us and everyone else at Vermont. So now there is real hope for everyone and it's the happiest day I've had in ages. My wife now knows too (time difference made it take a while to get hold of her as she was at work) and she is really happy too. I have just come in from having a couple of beers with my housemate to celebrate approval as he has had to listen to my bitching for months.

Come on VSC - keep it coming now.

Cheers all.

holy shnickies! 2 approvals. this is good news. CONGRATS!!

well, guys i hope they start moving through the backlog. this is definitely promising news.

however, not to be a sour puss but what if they are just approving 2 or 3 petitions just to make us believe that they have started working on the I-130s and I-129fs? just started thinking earlier that perhaps they that know we are all waiting and have been waiting for a long time and by doing one or two it may restore our faith in vsc, but in actuality, the will still let the I-129fs and I-130s sit in the back room collecting dust.

i don't know, maybe it's just paranoia, but i'm just having awful thoughts and not to mention, driving my wife crazy by running through these scenarios with her over the phone.

anyhow, i hope i am dead wrong and we start seeing some approvals come our way.
