Change choice of agent.Please help.

I wolud like to change my choice of agent from the lawyer to become my husband because our lawyer

doesn't pay attention to us .Everytime we called him,he never pick up the phone,we had to leave

the message and he never call back fast.Our I-130 APPROVE SINCE February 15,2008 until now(05/23/08)

can you believe that he doesn't do anything for us at all only I call NVC by myself to find out my case number.

Sorry to complain a lot but I was very disappointed.. :

Anyway do I have to fill out any form to change my choice of agent or only e-mail to NVC to let them know ?

I suggest you call NVC and discuss your problem with them.

OR

You can email them using this http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form format but use CHANGE word instead of DECLARATION

Send this to NVC in a e-mail, they respond around 10-days and your husband can bee the agent after they responded!

Lawyers are worst then anything, I had the same problem with mine also!

At the beginning of the body of your email before you write your request make sure you put the beneficiary name and DOB and the petitioner name and DOB...they will not read your email unless that is stated first...i wrote them an email once and that information was in the body and they still rejected my email...it has to be stated first...

Best if your lawyer notifies NVC [uSCIS] he no longer is representing you. That's what I had mine do when I fired him for similar acts as yours did.

Good if he can do that, otherwise you need to take this step by your own.

I'd send in the sample letter provided by macilaci to NVC and then call your lawyer tell him to send in paperwork to nvc to let them know he is not representing you anymore ( I bet he won't!) so at least you already covered it yourself.
