first of all im not a lady. if you are a conservative then why do you ask for a good story about mccain? you should already know why he is the best canidate. as far as politics are concerned, mccain is doing the right thing by letting the dems fight between themselves, sitting back and waiting for the right time to attack. second if you are a conservative tell me who will you be voting for because neither democrat is conservative. take a look into how bill clinton had a shot on bin laden with a CIA sniper and failed to take it in 96. with one quick shot things could have been a lot different. Obama's biggest quote for running is that he didnt vote to go to iraq. he was not in a seat as a senator yet. do look into the past of both dems and see how they will let terrorist accomplish another attack on the US and not do anything to the terrorist. Facts are facts, republicans will answer back to attacks from terrorist and dems will just send flowers and ask for a sorry letter from the terrorist

And yes, I know that you are a guy. Too bad that your wife's respectful and caring nature has not rubbed off on you. I suggest that you watch the name calling... I don't care for McCains policies. So what! And how I vote is my business.

ok ill watch the name calling if you watch yours too. i am not a sir, i work for a living. i am a soldier not a ##### foot officer. it don't matter if you like the guys policies it matters what is best for a nation that is whether or not we like it at war. the nation needs to understand this and that we can not let down our guard just because a few soldiers died. they all died for a reason and that reason is lost in the eyes of the american people. But that reason is not lost in mccain's eyes.

Of course, that's your opinion. I also work for the military and I don't agree with Sen. McCain. So what! He's a career politician with shifting political views that are not consistent with the conservative base. Therefore, I can't trust him to be the type of president that would like out for my best interest. So, I'm going to pull a reverse Rush Limbaugh during the general election and really vote Democratic. John McCain sucks and that's my opinion! Plus, he'll be dead in the next four years...

for a quick refresher on history. yes 911 did happen with a republican in seat, but that republican answered back fast with lots of firepower in a timely manner. but lets look at what happened with the last democrat. Bill Clinton first in 93 pulled troops out of Somilia do to a few Delta and Rangers being killed while going after terrorists. 93 attack on the World Trade Center that failed. not because of Bill. in 98 had the bombings of the US embassy's in Dar es Salaam and Nairobi. and last was the bombing of the USS Cole in 2000. all of they attacks were by al-qaeda during clintons years and he did nothing to any of the attackers. Atleast bush is not scared to go after those that either attack us or break treaties that they have signed.

well said gary. it is easier to blame the man that is in charge instead of the ones that made mistakes for years prior. like the whole katrina thing. bush gave them loads of money to fix all the dykes but the state and city officials missused that money and put it into place in cassino boats and other stuff it was not intended for. then everyone blamed bush for not giving prior warning for the hurricane in time. how is 5 days not enough. i dont know i live in a place full of tornadoes, in fact on last thursday i had 9 tornadoes within 30 miles of me but there is no warning for them. all we do is rebuild and move on. but for others its easier to blame the president that is in term than the real problem.
