Timeline
Wow! Congrats!

Good to see a normal March filer at VSC getting approval. It gives me hope that maybe soon something will happen.

My timeline shows I filed in March, but really my first time to file was early November 2007. I tried to do K3 process and send them both at the sametime. But, I sent them to TSC. And they mailed it all back to me in mid Feb. saying I sent it(I-129F) to the wrong place. :crying:

So, I had to start over again. And this time I just filed the I-130. I don't want to spend the extra money for AOS. It's going to be expensive enough to afford another trip for when its time to go get her and bring her here.

I was getting upset last night, cuz I saw a bunch of VSC K1's being approved. They really should be working I-130/K3's first. We are married already.

Come on VSC!

Hey, We did get married Aug 19 2007 so thank you for letting us know of the wrong year we had wrote here..oppps :innocent: .

Im so sorry to hear of your troubles with TSC. Its already a real uncomfortable situation being separated from our spouses, the waiting time alone is frustrating and I can imagine it mustve been real stressful for you guys to be set back because of mailing it to the wrong place. They shouldve forwarded the petitions instead of putting you through all this because noone who petition would ever mail anything of to the wrong place deliberately, and the uscis people should know that much.

At first we thought of going the K3 route aswell, but the AOS part discouraged us. We had talked about filing the K3 if the I-130 moved to slow, but luckily it only took 7 weeks and some change.

Im not graduating from my school out here in Europe until February next year and will need to be able to start working as soon as I move, so we just wanted to take the easiest route in the long run, and it seemed to be with the I-130. We are just praying everything as far as the visa process will be done by February next year. From what Ive read on most forums it appears to me that I can easily take a year until the case is done, but we are hoping for the best.

Hopefully youre up next to receive your approval so you can be reunited with your loved one.

Blessings
