Letter of Intent

So we're almost done putting together our K1 package and we have one question about the letter of intent... we just used the example which is pretty generic, but my bf is a bit concerned that they aren't 'original' enough. I'm not sure it matters all that much as long as it's written and signed.

Should we personalize them a bit more? Did you just use the example?

Thanks!!

We just used the example and re worded it a bit. You are correct, as long as it is written and signed and dated.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Thanks!

I didn't really personalize mine and he already has it dated and signed, so I'm not going to change it but my bf is going to change wording a bit on his to make it for "original"

Mine is dated April 30th, because we've been trying to put everything together a fell a bit behind, so hopefully that is okay too... I'm thinking its fine, and I'm trying not to sweat the small things.

SO close! the bf is going to check everything over tonight and hopefully send tomorrow or Monday.

We just used the example - just make sure that you change the wording to reflect if you intend to marry. I think the example has a 'her' or 'him' in it ... or maybe it was 'move to the us'. In any case, make sure the letter makes sense ;) It just has to be simple and sweet. I got into details with the 129-F question "how did you meet" and the cover letter.
