On another thread, by a member here...I had someone say YOU ARE A FAT (*( with kids like its an insult.

She doesnt know the size of my (&*) but the whole fact that this little twit said KIDS like its an insult burns me. Since when does having kids become a liablity or something to be looked down for by some people ( namely little twit airheads with double digit iqs who major in shopping and their hair?

I got to thinking about this because it seems to be a trend to run with women with kids down like its a liability. Having kids makes a person more selfless, more able to multi task, more giving, it shows you can take care of something more than a hamster. I just dont understand why having kids is somehow a liability to people. I think my kids are the best part of me. I was at my sons band concert tonight listening to him play pirates of the carribean with his 7th grade concert band

I think people that would use KIDS as a put down in an arguement.. like you are THIS with kids makes that person a worthless human being. My kids are the best part of me and the brightest part of my life. Anyone that thinks that having KIDS makes you somehow worth less can go jump off a bridge

I think I've decided that I officially hate the internet. It breeds hate because people do not have to pay consequences for their actions. They can spew off as much venom and be as despicable as they wish with no repercussions other than what they will reap on judgement day.

for this reason the internet sucks. For music downloads, shopping online, finding recipes and finding out how to get a visa without a lawyer the internet rocks.

Take comfort in knowing that these people will be judged and that eternity is....well it's an eternity.

You know what Bridgie? My great grandmother was the youngest of 5 Irish sisters. In 1910 she got sick of their nagging. They all lived in the same house at 4 park place in Poughkeepsie New York She was 40 and just was completely sick of them. She got on a boat, met a guy on the boat that was 26 and they fell in love and had her first ( my grandma) at 41 her second (my aunt helen) at 43 and then a baby at 45. A year after the baby was born the baby and the younger man died in the great flu epidemic in NYC. The oldest became a latin teacher and had a professor (my mom) a dentist and the youngest became a female lt col and teachers law at a major university. The second became an army nurse and was a poet.

The sisters are all buried at St peters cemetary in Poughkeepsie

People need to shut the *(*((* up about kids and other peoples lives because you dont know what baby was supposed to come here and my Great grandma was popping them out at 45. Its your damn life not anyone elses...

And dont worry, the nice people you will meet in this life will far outweigh the nasty twits. You are NOT too old. You are just right. This is your moment. Dont let things bother you

Its not the post. Its the general attitude that some how certain people are more deserving of children, marriage happiness or whatever. Its just beyond annoying.

Happiness belongs to everyone. Some of us just had to take longer routes to find it

I was called old as well, and by a really stupid 24 year old ( the stupid person is a laughing joke on VJ and everyone knows it but her). I had to laugh because I saw her mush and thought, gee...I look better than she does, so who is old? Yep, just laugh it off and keep chugging the Geritol. I would rather be aged and still look hot and brilliant than be young, ugly and a dummy.

You called me fat ### with kids as if thats an insult then said with a younger husband. The fat ### is an ok insult , the younger husband..well thats half of us. When you bring the fact that I have kids into it, you have crossed the line. I never mentioned your name by post but you have just outed yourself... And no one twisted your words. Thats what you called me. And I also did not mention you by name in my post , did I? You have made it about you...and apparently fat women, which I am not deserve insults, women with younger husbands deserve insults and my kids are a liablity... spoken by you..
