It's rare, and they are generally smaller than Midwest tornados, but it does happen. These are out in Riverside County, near Perris. We've got freak thunderstorms, flash floods, and that area is getting hail and snow flurries.

I'd be in a blind panic. I have nightmares about tornadoes, and I've never even seen one.
