"Increase in Visa Fees

Effective January 1, 2008, the immigrant visa application fee will increase from U.S. $335 to U.S. $355 plus a U.S. $45 visa security enhancement surcharge. Therefore the total immigrant visa application fee is U.S. $400. For "K" and "V" non-immigrant visas, the application fee will increase from U.S. $100 to U.S. $131. "

My question is do we pay $400 or $131.

Hi tallcoolone,

If you're on k1 you just have to pay $131, BPI only accepts Peso payment which is depending on the current exchange rate.

I paid last May 5 it's P 5633.00 (43/1 usd).

Oh, i forgot..go straight to the Customer Service and they will ask you for a valid ID, give you the DS-157 form and deposit slip with us embassy's account number, then you have to fall in line to pay at the counter, after that you have to go back to the customer service so she will have to stamp something on the ds form..and you're ready to go!

Goodluck to you interview!
