So much on-going wonder.

Yiippee!

Well, except for you Mumsie, as I happen to be the one to pull away from slow drivers...although I do not get caught for speeding.

I engage my cloaking device!

Hahaha!

When one drives long distances, one needs that adrenaline to keep one alert and awake. B)

I love it when...

...when I can dive back in here and feel the family that is VJ at any given moment.

Thank you all....for being you!

When your former boss and his wife - who I both adore - call while travelling on their way to Florida to co-ordinate a visit with you. We met for breakfast this morning and had a great visit catching up on all of the news from 'back home'. I haven't seen them for several years - not since he retired from being MP for our riding - and it was wonderful to see them. We have an invitation to visit them in Florida anytime whether they are there or not and use their condo. Well, when we go it will be when they are there because we would want to visit with them :) .

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I thought SpiritALight was always here on vj, since she posts so often.....

I didn't know that she 'left' and then 'came back', so I was surprised when she said that...

Hence the statement, "lol..did you even leave in the first place?...I didn't notice.."

Hope that clarifies things somewhat...

Meow.... :luv: Snowballs! Thanks for the snow, Krikit!

Oh dear Ant, have no worries.

I never left in spirit. ;)

You're thinking of planning a trip to San Diego, and the following day get a deal on the airfare? $327.00 for two of us...RETURN!

Wow amazing Carla!! Have fun!

Mine is:

Don't you love it when everything has fallen into place? We finally moved into our new apartment that I love and we spent much less on furniture and stuff then I anticipated. We have such an amazing family who has helped us SO much. We are so lucky.

I moved here just over 7 months ago and I've managed to find a job that I love, we have an amazing apartment, amazing friends and best of all, we never have to be apart again. I feel so lucky today.

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11
