http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.ph...0&t=1457383 if any one wants to suprise a dozen roses with free delivery!!!!

lot of good finds on slickdeals.net

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Sorry, the product code that you've selected, FREE SHIPPING! Summer Mixed Rose Bouquet (FC27), is unavailable.

Ohhhhhh. Okay, I think I'm going to order flowers for my SIL then. It's her 50th birthday and she doesn't know she's having a surprise party.

I asked her if she had any plans for her birthday and she said no. I said "Surely the girls (her daughters) will take you out to supper or something?" She thinks they don't care.

I got a nibble on one of the resumes that I sent out. I've only been invited for a phone interview. I wonder if I can turn that into a face-to-face one. In Bermuda, I'd just invite the recruiter to lunch but I'm not so sure that's appropriate here in the US.

Awww. That's awesome! Where are you going, Jill?

Going to Sea Isle, NJ. Staying at his Uncle's house, right on the beach :D Turns out it's the week after next though, not this coming week as his boss needs him next week. Should be fun, as I've never yet been to the Jersey Shore :)
