Ateam, just to let you know, USCIS published a notice this week that green card productions are delayed about 8 weeks due to a reorganization of the plant that produces them, so don't worry too much if the card appears slow in getting to you. It isn't lost- just caught up in the delay. Hope it arrives quickly - and congratulations on everything else.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Wow. You can tell I haven't been in this thread for a while. lol

Going to Bath and Body Works just to see what is on sale... and you walk out with some of the BEST scents in the world for your home. They have a new scent "Brilliant Citrus". Ahhhhh...... I have a very open layout to my home and I've placed three of these (very lemony and fresh smelling) Wallflowers around the main floor of the house and added in one vanilla for some balance. Wow... I could just sit here all day and sniff and smell my home. Ahhhhh.....

Ooooooooohhhh, I wish they had that scent in their scentports! I use the eucalyptus spearmint scent and it is just awesome. I don't have the wallflowers but my daughter does, so I bought a bunch of the fresh linen scent for stocking stuffers at Christmas.

You haven't seen your son in person in over a year, and you see him and his gf at her grad and your heart just melts.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. What a beautiful picture, Carla. :luv: Thanks for sharing.

You fit in your FAVORITE American eagle size 4 capris!!! (couldn't wear them last summer at ALL cause I had gained weight).

b!tch

I think you can make an INFOPASS appointment to go get the passport stamp since USCIS is upgrading their card production equipment.

Thanks Trailmix, Krikit, Kathryn, and Catherine! I'm excited because today I finally saw 188 on the scale after a 1 pound gain last week. Anyway, that's my 100 pound mark. I can't believe I used to be 100 pounds heavier than I am now, it's crazy!

Trailmix, I started my new job last Thursday and it's awesome so far! I love to learn and so I'm having a ball learning a whole medical billing system for a chiropractic office, not to mention it's only part time right now, which is great for me!

Kathryn and Catherine, I saw the notice that USCIS posted and am happy to say that I received my GC in the mail today! What a relief. I was a little concerned as I've been waiting since April! :) It only took almost 2 months from approval to get it to me, but that's alright. I've got it now and that's all that matters! WOOHOO!

^Congrats ATeam, that is amazing!! Greecard and weightloss :)

My happiness is that today I went to Wal-Mart to buy some towels (my friend got a me giftcard for Wal-Mart Canada, she thought I could use it in the US, but I couldn't so I went and spent it)

Anyways... I bought a Canada flag beach towel to take to the beach and it rang up as $1 and I didn't notice until I got home! I'm happy about that.

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

Whoa, that is truly awesome! There's no better feeling for me, than fitting into my 'skinny jeans'

I can't wait until the day I fit into my size 10 skinny jeans .... hopefully one day I will :P
