Oh, it is sooooo appreciated. Words can not even describe! We are going to Hawaii, on a cruise. Plus an added 4 days, b/c I won a 3-day/2-night vacation and Honolulu is one of the destination options. So, we're going on the 7 day cruise with an added 4 days on to the end of that... a 13 day honeymoon (the extra days are at the beginning and end - staying a night in Phoenix each way). My fiance' doesn't fly well, and it's 4 or so hours to/from Phoenix and Detroit and 6 hours to/from Phoenix and Honolulu. So, with stopping over the night in Phoenix we'll stay at my parent's home for the night and then take off the next day.

It works for him flying-wise and it works for me, a longer honeymoon and time alone with him! Yea!!! :)

That sounds wonderful, July. :) What an awesome gift.

Don't you love it when...SYDNEY FINDS YOUR APPLICATION AND ALL IS WELL IN THE WORLD AGAIN!!!!

You got a great night's sleep last night. It was cold, but the hubster was warm and snuggly and he didn't snore!

And THEN......

Your alarm goes off and you can smell the coffee brewing!

PS - no, I'm not on drugs, but a good night's sleep can do wonders

I'm still waiting on my 2007 return! :bonk:

I'm sorry Krikit! Why does it take so long to file Canadian taxes through the International Tax Office?

I guess I won't be counting on my 2009 return to be assessed quickly as I will be moving to the US later this year (*knocks on wood*)

You share an idea with your fiance' and you're expecting him to put up a fuss and say the idea is tooo girly... but then he says, "yes" AND admits to you that the idea is actually a great idea and that he's happy to do it! And on top of all that... it's a project for the WEDDING!

Rock out like you were just given the last rock n’ roll record on earth and the minutes are counting down to flames

Rock out like the streets are empty except for you, your bicycle and your headphones

Rock out like you just escaped an evil orphanage to join a Russian circus

Rock out like your hero was fallen and you were spinning your limbs until they burst into a flaming pyre of remembrance

Rock out like you are enslaved in the south and dancing, it’s all that you have to know who you are

Rock out like it’s raining outside and you’ve got a girl to run through it with

Rock out like you’re playing football in the mud and your washing machine is not broken

Rock out like you threw your window open on your honeymoon because you wanted the whole world to know what love is

Rock out like Jimmy has returned carrying brand new guitar stings

Rock out like the mangos are in season

Rock out like this was the last weekend, like these were the last words like you don’t ever want to forget how!

You are welcome Spirit.. enjoy!!

I love it when USCIS actually WORKS....

Friends of ours are going through the international adoption route and a USCIS officer just CALLED them and is emailing their approval notice to them, so it can expedite their adoption process which is about 1-2 weeks away from being approved in full..

I like to hear stories of officers who go out of their way to do good for all these families who are longing to be united!!

Thats great news, congratulations to them :)

On another note, when I first saw your "Rock Out" post, I was immediately drawn to a saying we had in college: "Rock Out With Your _________ Out"

Ok - small beans but . . .

I saw two bluebirds today taking a bath in our bird bath - one male (bright blue) and one female (not so bright blue). They were there long enough for me to snap several photographs. Blue birds are so beautiful and I see them so rarely.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
