Poutine grosses me out so much. It's disgusting and a heart attack waiting to happen.

In the mall the other day, I saw KFC in the food court so I looked at their menu. It confused me. They didn't have buttermilk biscuits! :(

This kind of thing always makes me laugh.

In one sentence you call poutine a heart attack waiting to happen.

In the next sentence you are pondering eating KFC and buttermilk biscuits

Of course if you eat poutine everyday or KFC, that's unhealthy or whatever. But there's nothing wrong with ANY food in moderation I believe - poutine twice a year, go for it! Indulge yourself once in a while, eat healthy the other times! Nothing wrong with that.

I didn't say I was going to eat at KFC. I merely noticed it and was a little confused. But you're right -- if I had intended on eating KFC, I'd be a complete hypocrite. :P

A few months ago I mentioned that there were these sandals I used to get in Hawaii that I hadn't seen anywhere else and MrsCat promised to have a look out for them.

Well MrsCat found sandals and mailed them to me :)

She also sent along a lovely note and some vanilla coffee beans from Hawaii, I got my coffee grinder out yesterday and i'm drinking that delicious coffee this morning.

I just want to say thank you to MrsCat for being so nice and thoughtful :)

So I apparently missed this whole thread and started a different one... lol Sorry. don't know how to delete it and it's too late to edit. lol

Anyhoo, my good news was that despite the fact that I'm the only one stuck here at work on Good Friday, there are Easter chocolates in the kitchen here, as well as pizza and pop left over from a meeting we had on Wednesday. Yay free lunch, and CHOCOLATE
